In this position, he provides executive leadership and oversight for the commercial division, guiding business development, strategic growth, preconstruction planning, financial management, project delivery, team development, and innovation to ensure continuous improvement across all operations.

David’s greatest satisfaction comes from working with people, helping them succeed, bringing projects to life, and exceeding client expectations. His extensive background, which includes nearly every type of construction project and experience as a real estate developer, gives him a unique perspective on understanding client needs and solving complex challenges from preconstruction through project completion.

Outside of work, David is passionate about the outdoors, whether hiking, backpacking, fishing, playing tennis, or spending time at the beach. He also has been coaching fastpitch girls’ softball for nearly 30 years, working with an organization based in Richmond that consistently develops athletes who go on to play at the collegiate level across Division I, II, and III programs. Several players he has coached have earned All-American honors and even competed professionally in the AUX Pro Softball League. For David, coaching is more than teaching the fundamentals of the game—it’s an opportunity to instill life lessons in hard work, dedication, teamwork, resilience, and the importance of being both a strong athlete and well-rounded person.

David shares his life with four daughters, four grandchildren, two Labrador retrievers, and his better half, Traci.
